COMMUNITY GRIEF 101
Step into a circle of healing where grief is seen and shared.
Learn practical ways to foster space for grief to be shared, seen, and processed.
Grief is a universal human experience that can manifest in challenging ways when left unaddressed. It can seep into our lives as illness, addiction, or other destructive behaviors, often extending its reach across generations. In Community Griefwork 101 we talk about why griefwork is important and explore ways unearth and transform our grief within a community context.
This course explores the idea that no one should carry grief alone. We'll examine diverse global grief traditions and talk about how we might find inspiration in them as we assist those in our own communities.
Individual grief often merges into the collective experience, shaping the emotional climate of our communities and generations. Join us to learn how to actively engage with this grief and discover ways to use it as a catalyst for connection and mutual support.
Just a quick thank you for all that you are exposing me to. After each evening session I feel alive, my heart more full of excitement than at any other time during the day. The diverse perspectives, the new vocabulary, the inside look that is so hard to find on my own...it is all making me a stronger and more informed advocate for the people that I care for.
